Hosting & server logs

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Local storage

If you switch between light and dark mode, the site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage. This is purely functional, stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Legal basis: § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG.

Contact form & AI Readiness Check

If you contact me or request a follow-up to the AI Readiness Check, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, company, message, answers, score, the page you sent it from and the referring website) to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a contract. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. Your readiness check answers are processed only in your browser unless you choose to send them.

Web analytics (Umami, cookieless)

To understand which pages are useful and how visitors find this site (e.g. via LinkedIn), I use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that I host myself (analytics.thorge.cloud). Umami does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not create cross-site profiles. It processes the page visited, referrer, campaign parameters (UTM), browser, operating system, device type and country; IP addresses are not stored. The "Do Not Track" setting of your browser is respected. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement).

Fonts

All fonts are self-hosted. No connection to font CDNs is made when you visit this site.
